Musicians magazines have had a rocky road dealing with computers and the internet. After years of compatibility and distribution problems, Guitar World is still stuck in its CD-ROM rut. Why they didn't at least switch to DVDs is still beyond me. Still, the various magazines' websites are coming up to speed.

These songs come by way of the Red Skelton show. "Popcorn" was the background for last skit of the show, and I think it was a reprise of the moon men that Skelton had done a few years before. The background for the original moon men was "mah na mah na".
Venus is a magical song from when I was 10. I am glad it continues to be covered.
I saw the movie Tommy when it came out, on a huge screen in a theatre built in the 50s. It was an incredible experience. A couple years later, I saw a rerelease of Woodstock in that same theatre. My only other visit there was to see Patti Smith.
